100% discount in Grindavik coming to an end

Straumlind decided in December of last year to offer its customers in Grindavik a 100% discount of electricity in November due to the enormous challenges the community was facing after earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Straumlind then decided to continue this support due to continued uncertainty and evacuations, so the discount was extended in December, January, February, March and April. The discount will come to an end on 30. April 2024.

We sincerely hope that Straumlinds contribution offered a relief for the people of Grindavík and wish them well.
